Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure centered over the eastern Gulf
along 26N will drift north and strengthen slightly this weekend.
The high will then shift westward across the northern waters Mon
through Wed. A surface trough will move westward off the Yucatan
Peninsula each evening, and enhance nocturnal winds over the SW
Gulf, through Wed.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Three is north of the area near 
33.2N 74.6W 1015 mb at 0900 UTC. The system will meander north 
of the area and offshore of the North Carolina coast, reaching 
tropical storm intensity Saturday night, and strengthen modestly
before moving slowly northeastward Tue and Wed. Expect an 
increase in winds and seas over the waters south of 22N Mon 
through Tue as Hurricane Beryl or its weakened remnants move WNW
 across the Caribbean. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
