Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from a 1014 mb low centered near
29.5N89W to near 25N90W. Showers and thunderstorms can be
expected near this system as it slowly moves W toward NE Texas
through Wed. A high pressure ridge over the remainder of the
Gulf will prevail through Sat night. A surface trough will
emerge off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Sat, and
help enhance nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf.  

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...The trough will move across the NW Bahamas and over 
Florida Wed and Wed night. A second trough will develop near 
Bermuda and extending SW into the forecast waters. This trough 
will shift NW of the area by the end of the week. High pressure 
will build in its wake. Winds N of Hispaniola will pulse to
strong speed each day during the afternoon and evening beginning
on Wed.
