Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from a weak 1015 mb low near 29N87W
to 27N90W. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms can
be expected near this system as it slowly moves westward through
Tue. A high pressure ridge over the remainder of the Gulf will
change little through Fri night. The northern portion of a
tropical wave along 96W and S of 20N will move inland Mexico
this evening. A surface trough will emerge off the Yucatan
Peninsula each evening through Sat, and help enhance nocturnal
winds over the SW Gulf.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending west-southwestward
across the western Atlantic will weaken through Tue in response 
to broad low pressure near 28N67W that will move southwestward 
towards the Bahamas. The high will rebuild and strengthen Wed 
through Sat night as the low weakens into a trough, then tracks 
across the NW Bahamas and over Florida Wed night. At the same
time, another low is expected to form near Bermuda and track 
westward near 30N/31N through early Fri before turning to the 
north away from the area by Fri night. Otherwise, generally 
tranquil marine conditions are expected over the remainder of
the  area through the period.
