Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from a weak surface low near
Pensacola Florida to near 28N90W. Showers and thunderstorms can
be expected near the trough as it slowly moves westward through
Tue. A high pressure ridge covering the remainder of the Gulf
will change little through Fri night. The northern portion of a
tropical wave along 95W and S of 20N will move inland Mexico
this evening. A surface trough will emerge off the Yucatan
Peninsula each evening through Fri, and act to enhance nocturnal
winds over the SW Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending west-southwestward
across the western Atlantic will weaken through Tue in response 
to broad low pressure near 31N67W that will move southwestward 
towards the Bahamas. The high will rebuild Wed through Thu night
as the low weakens into a trough, then tracks across the NW 
Bahamas and over Florida Wed night. Scattered showers and 
thunderstorms are expected to accompany the low and trough. 
Otherwise, generally tranquil marine conditions are expected 
across the region through Thu night.
