Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak 1014 mb low is 30N86W, with a trough
extending to 27N85W and to near 26N86W. The low will move little
today, then drift northwestward towards the SW Alabama and SE
Louisiana coasts Sun and Sun night while weakening. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms will continue over much of the NE Gulf
and the far NE section of the N central gulf waters through Tue
night. Weak high pressure covering the central and western Gulf
will change little through Wed night. A surface trough will
emerge off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Wed, and
act to enhance nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending west-southwestward 
across the western Atlantic will weaken through Tue in response 
to the development of broad low pressure northeast of the Bahamas.
A surface trough will develop from the low pressure and move 
westward across the NW Bahamas Tue, and inland Florida Wed. 
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected with the trough. 
Otherwise, generally tranquil marine conditions are expected 
across the region through the middle of next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, except 10 to 15 kt S
of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms N of 27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms S of
