Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure trough will support showers and 
thunderstorms over the NE Gulf for the next few days. Weak high 
pressure covering the central and western Gulf will change little 
through Wed night. A surface trough will emerge off the Yucatan 
Peninsula each evening through Wed, and act to enhance nocturnal 
winds over the SW Gulf. 

.TODAY...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N late in the
evening, then, shifting to E to SE after midnight. Seas 2 ft or
less. 
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending SW across the western
Atlantic will slowly weaken during the first half of next week in
response to the development of broad low pressure NE of the 
Bahamas. Otherwise, generally benign marine conditions are 
expected across the region through the middle of next week.

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
