Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure extending from the central
Atlantic westward across the northern gulf will shift southward
to the central gulf by Fri. A weak surface trough extends from
near 28N84W to 24N85W. The trough will weaken as it moves
westward to across the central gulf waters through Wed. A trough
moving west off the W coast of the Yucatan Peninsula each night
will enhance nocturnal winds over much of the southwest gulf
waters through Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some with 
possible gusty winds, are south of 27N and W of 73W. This 
activity will gradually shift west and southwestward through 
tonight. High pressure extending from the central Atlantic to 
southern Florida will maintain moderate to fresh trade winds 
south of 22N,except becoming strong off Hispaniola at night 
through the remainder of the week.
