Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...An elongated middle level low, upper level diffluent
flow and abundant moisture in the western Gulf support numerous
to scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms mainly concentrated
in the NW and N central basin, and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Scattered showers are in the Bay of Campeche and the Yucatan
channel. A strong pressure gradient between this broad area of
low pressure and a ridge over the E Gulf support fresh to locally
strong SE winds in the SE basin continuing through early Mon 
morning. Light to moderate SE winds will dominate thereafter.

and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening cold front will continue to move 
southward east of the Bahamas through Mon afternoon when it is 
forecast to stall before dissipating on Tue. Weak high pressure 
will build thereafter.
