Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong surface trough extending from near 25N92W
to 20N96W will move west-northwestward through Sun night
accompanied by scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms,
some of which may produce rough seas. A tightening of the pres
gradient between the trough and Atlantic high pres will support
fresh to near gale force SE winds over the central Gulf waters.
The trough will move inland over Texas by early Mon with winds
diminishing thereafter. High pres will prevail across the basin
for the remainder of the upcoming week.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from the central Bahamas
northward to 29N76W will be overtaken by a backdoor cold front
today, which will drop southward through early next week. High
pres ridging south of the boundaries will shift southward. 
Relatively weak high pres will build southward across the northern
and central waters Tue through Thu night.
