Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough across the Bay of Campeche and
western Gulf will shift slowly WNW through Sat, accompanied by
widespread convection. A tightening pressure gradient from this
trough will induce fresh SE winds in west-central Gulf waters
later today, becoming fresh to strong this weekend.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge along 26N will drift southward through Sun
as a weak cold front sweeps eastward across the northern waters.
Moderate easterly winds are expected south of the ridge. Gentle 
to moderate winds north of the ridge will become moderate to 
fresh southwestly ahead of the front this weekend.

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
