Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough, the northern portion of a tropical
wave, across the W Bay of Campeche and W Gulf will shift slowly
WNW through Sat, accompanied by active weather. The pressure
gradient will tighten in association with this trough, to
produce freshening SE winds across W central portions through
Fri, becoming strong SE to S winds over the weekend.

showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge along 26N will shift south 
along 25N on Fri, along 24N on Sat and weaken along 23N on Sun
as a weak cold front sweeps eastward through the waters north of
25N. Moderate easterly winds are generally expected south of the
ridge. Gentle to moderate southerly flow is expected north of 
the ridge becoming moderate to fresh southwest flow just ahead
of the front on Sat and Sun. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N.

chance of showers.
