Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient is tightening in association 
with a tropical wave that will move west-northwest across the 
Yucatan Peninsula and into the Bay of Campeche on Thu. The wave 
will gradually weaken into a broad and elongated area of low 
pressure across the southwest gulf waters on Fri and Sat, with the
pressure gradient supporting fresh to strong southeast flow 
across the western Gulf of Mexico on Sun. 

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge along 27N will shift south 
along 25N on Fri, along 24N on Sat and weaken along 23N on Sun
as a weak cold front passes east through the waters north of
25N. Moderate easterly flow is forecast south of the ridge. 
Gentle to moderate southerly flow is expected north of the ridge 
becoming moderate to fresh southwest flow just ahead of the front 
on Sat and Sun, with a brief moderate northeast breeze expected to
the north of the cold front on Sun. 

.OVERNIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon.
