Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient is tightening in association 
with a tropical wave moving through the Yucatan Channel today. The
wave will pass through the southwest gulf waters on Thu and Fri 
accompanied by a weak low pressure center along the wave axis. A 
fresh southeast breeze is expected across the central waters 
through Sat with locally strong conditions developing on Sat night
into Sun.

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge will meander between 27N and 
29N through Thu, then shift south along 25N on Fri, along 24N 
on Sat and along 23n on Sun allowing a weak cold front to pass 
east through the waters north of 26N with moderate easterly flow 
forecast south of the ridge. Gentle to moderate southerly flow is
expected north of the ridge, with a brief moderate northeast 
breeze expected to the north of the cold front on Sat.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
