Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient will tighten during the middle 
of the week in association with a tropical wave moving through the
Yucatan Channel on Wed. A surface low will develop along the wave
axis on Wed night, and move into the Bay of Campeche on Thu, then
continue across the southwest gulf waters late in the week.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge will meander between 27N and
29N through Thu, then shift south on Fri and reach along 24N on
Sat  allowing a weak cold front to move into the northern
waters. Moderate easterly flow forecast south of the ridge. 
Gentle to moderate southerly flow is expected north of the ridge, 
becoming a moderate northeast breeze to the north of the cold 
front during the upcoming weekend.

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in the late morning
and afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
