Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...An upper trough will prevail over the E Gulf of
Mexico through Wed supporting the continuation of showers in the
region. Model guidance suggests that the pressure gradient will 
increase Wed night due to a developing low pressure just east of 
the Yucatan Peninsula. This scenario will lead to the development 
of fresh to strong winds in the NW Yucatan Peninsula adjacent 
waters continuing to early Thu. Moderate to fresh SE winds will
prevail thereafter.

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic subtropical ridge will continue to
extend westward across the region supporting light to moderate
southerly winds in the windward side of the Bahamas. Strong high pressure
associated with the ridge will lead to enhanced trades along the northern
coast of Hispaniola every night through Wed night.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in the late morning and
afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.THU...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
