Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Troughing will form over the western Yucatan each
evening starting tonight and drift over the southwest Gulf
overnight through early next week. A frontal trough will cross
the NE gulf late this weekend with fresh SW winds. Elsewhere,
ridging across the central Gulf will maintain gentle to moderate
winds through the remainder of the period.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the late
morning and early afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...1019 mb high pressure is centered near 28N70W, west
of a cold front moving through the central Atlantic. The high
pressure will dissipate into early next week as it shifts south 
as a ridge, ahead of a trough moving across the Carolinas into 
the western Atlantic.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
