Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Showers and a few thunderstorms will persist over
the eastern Gulf through late Wed as moisture levels decrease. 
Ridging across the northern Gulf will maintain gentle to moderate 
SE winds through the remainder of the period. 

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.WED...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge extends along 27N. A high pressure 
center will develop along the ridge northwest of the northern 
Bahamas starting late Wed as a cold front moves into the waters 
north of 26N and east of 70W through Thu, before stalling and 
dissipating along 25N Fri. The high pres center will dissipate
and the ridge will shift south Sat ahead of a trough moving
through  the Carolinas. 

.OVERNIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers.
