Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong thunderstorms will affect the N central Gulf
today near a trough extending S of Alberto. Moderate to fresh
southerly winds will persist over the eastern Gulf through
tonight in the wake of Subtropical Depression Alberto, now north
of the area. Winds will diminish by mid week across the basin as
weak high pressure builds from the western Atlantic to the
eastern Gulf. By late Thu, troughing will form over the western
Yucatan each evening and drift over the southwest Gulf overnight
through Sat.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge extends along 27N. A high pressure 
center will develop along the ridge northwest of the northern 
Bahamas by mid week as a cold front moves into the waters north
of 26N and east of 70W through Thu, before stalling and
dissipating along 25N Fri. The high pres center will dissipate
and the ridge will shift south Sat ahead of a trough moving
through the Carolinas.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N
