Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh southerly winds will persist over
the eastern Gulf through tonight in the wake of Subtropical
Storm Alberto, now north of the area. Winds will diminish by mid
week across the basin as weak high pressure builds from the
western Atlantic to the eastern Gulf.

showers.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge extends along 28N. A high pressure 
center will develop along the ridge northwest of the northern 
Bahamas by mid week as a cold front moves into the waters north
of 26N and east of 70W through Thu, before stalling and
dissipating along 25N Fri. The high pres center will dissipate
and the ridge will shift south Sat ahead of a trough moving
through the Carolinas.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in SE swell. Scattered showers.
