Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Subtropical Depression Alberto inland over the
western Florida Panhandle near 31.4N 86.2W 996 mb at 11 PM EDT
moving N at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 30 kt gusts 40 kt.
Alberto will continue inland to 32.9N 86.7W Tue morning...become
a remnant low and continue to move northward before dissipating
late Fri. Winds and seas will start to decrease after the storm
continues to move inland with ridging building in from the
Atlantic.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge extends along 28N. A high pressure 
center will develop along the ridge northwest of the northern 
Bahamas by mid week as a cold front moves into the waters north
of 26N and east of 70W through Thu, before stalling and
dissipating long 25N Fri. The high pres center will dissipate and
the ridge will shift south Sat ahead of a trough moving through 
the Carolinas.

showers and scattered thunderstorms.
