Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure centered in the Atlantic
ridging into the northeastern Gulf will shift eastward through
early Thu. A broad surface low just north of Belize is expected
to further develop off the northern coast of the Yucatan
Peninsula Fri morning. The tropical low will move slowly
northward in the eastern Gulf this weekend with up to near gale
force winds and associated seas east of the low.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered near 31N48W ridging SW across
the Florida Peninsula will support moderate to fresh trade winds
south of 27N through Thu. Winds will diminish slightly Fri as the
ridge shifts east. An area of low pressure developing in the Gulf
of Mexico this weekend will increase SE winds to fresh west of 
77W this weekend.
