Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from the Atlantic into the Gulf
waters will dominate the region through at least Mon. A thermal
trough will develop during the evening hours over the Yucatan
Peninsula, then move west across the southwest waters during the
overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. A broad
trough will develop across the eastern gulf today and will drift
WNW through Mon. Easterly winds will begin to gradually increase
across the southeast gulf waters during the middle of next week
in response to deepening low pressure over the northwest
Caribbean.

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge will meander across the 
northern waters through the middle of next week supporting fresh
to locally strong flow across the southern waters, including the
approaches to the northern Caribbean Passages.

N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
