Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from the Atlantic into the Gulf waters will dominate the region through at least Mon morning. A thermal trough will develop during the evening hours over the Yucatan Peninsula, then move west across the southwest waters during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. A broad trough will develop across the eastern gulf late Mon and drift west through Tue.
