Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad surface low pressure area is centered over
the SE Gulf. This system will slowly move northward across the
eastern Gulf of Mexico during the next few days, and will
continue to enhance rainfall across portions of Florida, the SE
Gulf and the northeastern Gulf Coast during the next few days.
Winds and seas could be higher near thunderstorms.

less. 
.TUE...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail over the forecast waters
through Fri. Moderate to fresh southerly winds are expected N of
27N and just off the Florida peninsula most of the forecast
period due to the pressure gradient between high pressure across
the area and a low pressure moving slowly N across the eastern 
Gulf of Mexico. Fresh to strong winds will prevail north of 
Hispaniola, but mainly at night.

27N. S of 27N, seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or less. N of 27N,
seas 4 to 6 ft.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
