Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extending from Naples, Florida southwestward to 24N85W to 23N94W will exit the southeast gulf this evening. Another weak cold front will move across the northeast Gulf tonight, then dissipate Tue morning. High pressure will build over the area behind the front, then shift eastward to the NE Gulf Thu night into Fri. Gentle to moderate north to northeast winds will gradually shift to the east to southeast by Thu night. During Fri, high pressure ridging will extend from the western Atlantic to high center over the NE Gulf. The ridge and high center will shift slightly north by Fri night. This pattern will maintain little change to the gentle to moderate east to southeast winds over the basin. A weak thermal trough will move over the eastern Bay of Campeche from the Yucatan during the morning then dissipate during the afternoon each day beginning Wed. .THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 5 to 10 kt.
