Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extending from near Ft Myers 
Florida SW to 25N85W to 23.5N91W will weaken as it moves toward 
the SE gulf today and tonight. A second reinforcing cold front 
will enter the NE Gulf tonight, then dissipate Tue morning. High 
pressure will build over the Gulf behind the fronts, then head E. 
Gentle to moderate N to NE winds will gradually veer to SE by Thu 
night. On Fri, the high will enter the western Atlc but ridge W 
across the northern gulf waters and maintain moderate E to SE 
winds over the basin. A weak thermal trough will move over the 
eastern Bay of Campeche from the Yucatan during the morning then 
dissipate during the afternoon each day beginning Wed.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front entering the far NW waters will 
slowly move SE and reach from near 31N77W to western Cuba by early
Mon afternoon, then from near 31N74W to the central Bahamas to W 
central Cuba early Tue. This front will be reinforced by a second 
weak cold front moving SE from Florida and Georgia tonight. Fresh 
to strong S winds will precede the front N of 27N through Tue 
evening. The combined front will stall over the northern Bahamas 
and weaken Wed and Thu, then dissipate Fri.

.TODAY...W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
