Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh SE return flow will prevail across NW waters
tonight. A modest E to W ridge across the N Gulf states will
maintain moderate to fresh E to SE winds across the region
through Sat. Fresh to strong winds and rough seas will persist
through the Straits of Florida through Fri to the NW of an old
front in the central Bahamas. A trough will develop across the
Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon through evening and move W each
night beyond 95W, through Sat night. A weak surface trough will
enter the NW Gulf Sun and dissipate Sun evening. A high will
develop over the NW Gulf Tue and move to the north central Gulf
Tue night.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from 28N65W to the N Bahamas near
 26N76W will dissipate tonight. Strong NE to E winds will
persist  north of front through the northern Bahamas between
high pressure  north of the area and a trough developing north
of the Windward Passage. This trough will drift W and amplify
Fri, reaching 80W  Sat. Active weather will accompany the
trough, as it interacts  with an upper level disturbance moving
SW across the Bahamas and  Cuba. Strong SE winds and building
seas will follow in the wake of the trough through late Sun. A
weak frontal boundary will move  off NE Florida Sun evening and
move E to 72W Tue.

.FRI...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and E 15 to

thunderstorms. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
