Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure is centered along the SE U.S. coast
and extends E to W across the region. The high will track ESE
off the S Carolina coast tonight but continue ridging W across
the N gulf waters through Thu. Moderate to locally fresh winds
will become fresh to strong over the far SE Gulf, Straits of
Florida and western Gulf beginning Tue, then continue through
early Thu as high pressure builds southeastward over the western
Atlantic and low pressure deepens over the Central Plains
States.

.SYNOPSIS...An old frontal boundary extends from near 25N70W SW
across E Cuba to just W of Jamaica. A weak cold front moving SE
across the NW waters from 29N65W to 26N70W to central Cuba near
22n79w will merge with the frontal trough tonight. The merged 
front will reach from 26N65W to W Cuba near 22N78W by early Wed.
 As the high slides E, fresh to strong NE to E winds will
develop between 28N and the front. A broad surface trough will
approach  67W Thu and move W to 72W Fri, followed by fresh to
locally  strong E to SE winds, and very active weather.
