Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A dissipating stationary front extends from Fort
Myers west to near 27N90W. Fresh to locally strong easterly flow
continues north of the front over the NE Gulf. The remnants of
the stationary front will lift back to the north as a warm front
early this morning as a cold front reaches the Texas coast. The
cold front will be preceded by scattered showers and
thunderstorms. It will reach from the Mississippi Delta to the
Bay of Campeche tonight, from the Florida Big Bend to the
Yucatan Peninsula on Mon night, then slow somewhat on Tue
passing across the Straits of Florida Tue night.

.SYNOPSIS...Remnants of a stationary front extending southwest 
from 29N65W to central Florida will lift northward today with 
near gale force southeast flow developing across the forecast 
waters north of the Bahamas on Mon and Mon night in association 
with a surface low that will move eastward across the
southeastern United States. The surface low will track
northeastward along the Georgia and South Carolina coasts on
Tue, and drag a a couple of  weak cold fronts across the
northwest waters during the middle of  next week. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 8 ft N of 27N. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms N of 27N.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft 
N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms N of 27N.
