Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong NW winds over the far eastern Gulf will slowly diminish through late tonight as high pressure, presently over the NW gulf , shifts eastward across the northern gulf waters reaching the NE gulf on Wed. Expect strong southerly return flow over the northwest Gulf Tue night between the high pressure and lower pressure over the southern Plains. Strong to near gale force southerly winds ahead of it N of 28N are quickly shifting eastward and diminishing. Strong west winds behind the cold front will continue to also diminish through Tue afternoon, at which time the cold front is expected to reach from near Bermuda to eastern Cuba Tue. The weakening cold front will reach from near 28N65W to 26N70W and stationary to SE Bahamas and eastern Cuba by early Wed. The stationary portion will lift back to the N as a dissipating boundary to near 26N Thu and Thu night.
