Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A late season cold front extends from Louisiana near 
29N90W to Veracruz, Mexico near 20N96W. Fresh to strong southerly 
flow is ahead of the front to 84W. The front will sweep across 
the southeast Gulf by late Sun night. Winds and seas will diminish
from west to east through Mon morning. High pressure will build 
across the basin thereafter and persist through Wed. A new cold 
front is forecast to move off Texas and Louisiana Thu morning and 
extend along the northern Gulf Thu night. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN...S to SW winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to SW to W late in the
afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.MON...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure northeast of the area is supporting 
pulses of fresh to strong trade winds off Hispaniola today into
Sunday night. SE to S winds will increase to fresh to strong W
of 75W Sun afternoon ahead of a cold front moving off the
northeast Florida coast Sun evening, then increase to strong to
near gale force west and east of the front through Mon. The
front will reach from 30N72W to central Cuba Mon evening. Winds
and seas will diminish Mon night through Tue morning as the
front reaches from  30N68W to the southern Bahamas. Light and
gentle variable wind flow will establish across the region Wed
and Thu.
