Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from low pres near 29N84W to
24N98W. The front will move SE across the southern Gulf through
Wed. The front will then dissipate near the Florida Straits on
Thu. Fresh to locally strong northerly winds are expected behind
the front through Wed morning. A stronger cold front is forecast
to come off the Texas coast early Sat with fresh to strong winds
preceding it. Strong northerly winds are expected for the most
part behind the front, except gale force winds will be possible
over the SW Gulf Sat night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the late
morning and early afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered thunderstorms.
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure over the E Gulf will ride E-NE along a
warm front that extends from 29N81W to 29N76W. From there, the 
front transitions to a cold front that extends beyond 31N73W.
The entire front will transition to a cold front tonight as the
low moves NE of the area. The cold front will move SE tonight
through Thu, reaching from 31N73W to 26N80W Wed morning, and
from 31N68W  to 26N76W Wed night. The front will then dissipate
Thu. Fresh to  strong winds and building seas will precede and
follow the front N of 28N tonight through Thu morning. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous showers and scattered 
thunderstorms.
.WED...S of 27N,SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NW 15 to
20 kt late in the afternoon. N of 27N,NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt.
Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
