Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from near Tampa Bay, FL to the north-central Gulf near 27N90W to the western Bay of Campeche is beginning to lift N tonight. A second push of cold air and a developing low pressure center along the frontal boundary over the NE Gulf will allow the transition to a cold front Monday evening. The low will move NE across Florida toward the western Atlantic Ocean late on Mon, thus dragging the cold front across the SE Gulf and South Florida by Wed. The front will dissipate across the Straits of Florida Thu and return flow will establish basin-wide on Fri. .OVERNIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. The low will move E-NE on Tue dragging a cold front across Florida through late Wed. The front will then dissipate in the Straits of Florida on Thu.
