Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail over much of the forecast
waters through Tue. A trough will develop over the Yucatan
peninsula each evening and shift westward across the southwest
Gulf during the overnight hours. A cold front is expected to
move into the NW Gulf by Thu, reaching from SE Louisiana to near
Tuxpan, Mexico by Thu night. The front will be preceded by
scattered showers and thunderstorms.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front over the far southeast 
waters will dissipate by this evening. A cold front will drop S 
of 31N tonight through early next week followed by strong  high
pres along with strong NE to E winds, except for N to NE  winds
in the far northeastern portion of the area. The high pres  will
slowly weaken Wed through Thu. Large northerly swells will 
impact the entire basin by the middle of the week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N except SW to W 20 to 25 kt N of 29N. Seas 3 to 4 
ft.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N,E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, S to SW
winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SE 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 4 to 6 ft S
of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N.
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 10 ft N of 27N.
