Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail over much of the forecast
waters through Tue. A trough will develop over the Yucatan
peninsula each evening and shift westward across the southwest
Gulf during the overnight hours. A cold front is expected to
move into the NW Gulf by Thu, reaching from SE Louisiana to near
Tuxpan, Mexico by Thu night.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the
morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.MON NIGHT...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front over the far southeast waters
will dissipate today. A cold front will drop S of 31N tonight
through  early next week with high pres building in its wake.
Large  northerly swells will impact the entire basin by the
middle of  the week. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, S to SW
winds 10 to 15 kt,  shifting to SE 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 2 ft or
less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
