Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge over the northern Gulf will shift E through
tonight ahead of a cold front moving off the Texas coast Mon.
The front will extend from the Florida Big Bend area to Veracruz
Mexico early Tue, just as a reinforcing push of cold air moves
off the Texas coast. The reinforcing front overtakes the first
front late Tue, accompanied by strong winds and building seas
over the northern Gulf. The merged front sweeps southeast of the
Gulf by early Wed. Winds and seas diminish across the Gulf
through late Wed as high pressure follows the front across the
northern Gulf.  

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers
and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.TUE NIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.THU...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front accompanied by fresh to strong winds
and 8 to 10 ft seas will move across the waters N of 28N and E 
of 70W through early Monday. SW winds will increase to fresh to 
strong off NE Florida and N of the Bahamas late Mon, then 
increasing to near gale to gale force north of 28N with building
seas Tue night as low pressure moves off the Carolina coast. A 
trailing cold front will sweep eastward, reaching from Bermuda
to  eastern Cuba by Wed night. The front will then drift east
Thu  through Fri. Near gale to gale force westerly winds are
expected  Wed and Wed evening behind this front. 

...GALE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE TUE NIGHT...

.TONIGHT...S of 27N,N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to
S in the late evening and overnight. N of 27N,NW winds 10 to
15 kt, shifting to S to SW 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.MON...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft late in the afternoon.
Scattered showers. 
.MON NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...S winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.TUE NIGHT...SW winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
