Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front has exited the southern portion of the
basin, except over the E Bay of Campeche. Strong northerly winds
in the wake of the front will diminish from the NW today. A
ridge will extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida Tue,
then high pres will shift over the NE Gulf Thu through Fri, then
east of the basin Sat.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft, subsiding to 2 ft
or less. 
.WED...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N69W to central Cuba is preceded
and followed by gale force winds N of 28N that will diminish
this afternoon. The front will reach from 25N65W to E Cuba Wed 
morning and stall. Another cold front will reach E of Florida 
Wed, then move SE and merge with the stationary front Wed night.
The merged front will continue SE and stall again from 23N65W to
Hispaniola before dissipating Thu night. High pres will build 
from the NW behind the front late Wed and shift E into the W
Atlc along 27N Fri into Sat night.   

.THIS AFTERNOON...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 3 ft in the afternoon,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
