Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Yucatan Channel to
the E Bay of Campeche will move SE of the basin tonight. Gale
force winds are expected behind the front over the SW Gulf 
through late this evening. Strong northerly winds elsewhere in
the wake of the front will diminish from the NW late tonight. A
ridge will extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida on
Tue, then high pres will shift over the NE Gulf Thu through Fri,
then east of the basin Sat.

.TUE...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N72W to 24N80W to W Cuba is 
preceded and followed by near gale to gale force winds N of 28N 
that are expected to persist through Tue morning. The front will
reach from Bermuda to central Cuba Tue morning, from 26N65W to E 
Cuba Wed morning, then from 24N65W to E Cuba Thu where it will 
stall and dissipate through Fri night. Another cold front front 
will reach E of Florida Wed and move E across the waters N of 25N 
through late Thu before exiting to the E. High pres will build 
from the NW behind the front late Wed and shift E into the W Atlc 
along 27N Fri and Sat.

.OVERNIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW 30 to 40 
kt N of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NW swell. Scattered showers and 
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...S of 27N,N winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming N to NE 5 to 10 kt
late in the afternoon. N of 27N,NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt,
diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 9 ft in N
swell. 
.TUE NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell. 
.WED...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell.
