Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Florida Big Bend
region to just S of Tampico Mexico will move SE across the
entire basin today, then reach the Straits of Florida this
evening. Brief gale force winds are expected behind the front
over the far W Gulf this morning, and in the SW Gulf this
afternoon until around midnight. Strong northerly winds
elsewhere in the wake of the front will diminish from the NW
through tonight. A ridge will extend from NE Texas to the
Straits of Florida on Tue, then high pres will shift over the NE
Gulf Thu through Fri night.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.TUE...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front entering the waters off NE Florida this
morning will be preceded and followed by near gale to gale force
 winds N of 28N this afternoon through Tue morning. The front
will reach from 30N65W to E Cuba Tue, then stall from 26N65W to
E Cuba through Tue night. A second cold front will cross waters
N of 26N Wed night and Thu, merging with the first front on Thu.
High pres will build from the NW behind the second front.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW to W winds 15 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW to W
increasing to 25 to 35 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NW swell. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.TUE...S of 27N,N winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming N to NE 5 to 10 kt
late in the afternoon. N of 27N,NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt,
diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 9 ft in N
swell. 
.TUE NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
