Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move off the Texas coast this
afternoon, then move southeastward across the entire basin
through Mon, and across the Straits of Florida on Mon evening. A
brief gale is expected behind the front over the far W Gulf Mon,
then SW gulf late Mon. Strong northerly winds elsewhere in the
wake of the front will diminish from the NW through Mon night. A
ridge will extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida on
Tue, and shift NE Wed through Thu.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to
5 to 7 ft late in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...An area of numerous showers and thunderstorms over
much of the Bahamas and surrounding waters is associated with a 
trough both at the surface and aloft. This activity is capable 
of producing strong gusty winds and frequent lightning as it 
quickly moves ENE. A cold front will emerge off the Georgia and 
NE Florida coasts late tonight into early on Mon. The front will 
reach from near 31N79W to West Palm Beach early Mon afternoon, 
from near 31N75W to NW Cuba Mon evening, from near 31N67W to 
26N70W to eastern Cuba early on Tue before stalling from near 
27N65W to central Cuba Tue night. The cold front will gradually 
weaken through Thu as high pres builds eastward over the area. 
Minimal to strong gale force winds are expected N of about 29N E 
and W of the front Mon through Tue.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Winds and
seas higher in and near scattered showers and thunderstorms S of
27N.
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.MON...SW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to 30 kt N
of 27N except N of 30N E of 79W late in the afternoon W to NW 
winds 30 to 35 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft, except 6 to 8 ft early N of 27N
building to 8 to 10 ft. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms.
.MON NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 30 kt N
of 27N except 30 to 35 kt N of 30N E of 79W. Seas 6 to 9 ft S of
27N, and 10 to 12 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
.TUE...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming N 10 to 
15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW to N swell. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell.
