Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move off the Texas coast this
afternoon, then move SE across the entire basin through Mon, and
across the Straits of Florida on Mon evening. A brief gale is
expected behind the front over the far W Gulf Mon, then SW gulf
late Mon. Strong northerly winds elsewhere in the wake of the
front will diminish from the NW through Mon night. A ridge will
extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida on Tue, and shift
NE Wed through Thu.  

.TODAY...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to
5 to 7 ft late in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from 24N65W to Haiti will weaken 
through early today. A complex of thunderstorms will cross the 
northern Bahamas this morning. A cold front will emerge off the 
NE Florida coast late tonight. This cold front will extend from 
near 31N75W to northwest Cuba Mon night, stall from 27N65W to 
central Cuba Tue night and gradually weaken through Thu as high 
pres builds eastward over the area. Gale force winds are
expected  N of 28N on both sides of the front Mon night and Tue.

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
