Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from SE Louisiana to near
Tuxpan Mexico. A second cold front has just moved off the coast
of Texas. The fronts will merge today, with the merged front
reaching from S Florida to the central Gulf along 25N to near
Veracruz Mexico tonight, then dissipate across the W portion
while the E portion of front sinks S into the Straits of Florida
Sat afternoon then dissipates. A ridge will build across the
northern Gulf Sun and Mon.  

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N77W to 30N81.5W. A 
reinforcing front will merge with this cold front tonight, with 
strong to gale force winds prevailing north of 24N east of 75W. 
The merged fronts, and associated area of gale force winds will 
shift E of the area Sun. The largest swell event thus far in
this winter season will accompany this system, affecting all
waters E of Florida and the Bahamas through Tue.

25 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
27N. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft
late. N of 27N, seas 6 to 8 ft.
