Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from the Florida
Panhandle to the W Bay of Campeche, will begin to drift westward
later today while weakening. A frontal trough will remain over
the SW Gulf through Wed. A ridge will dominate the Gulf region
the remainder of the work-week.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge, with axis across the N waters, dominates
the forecast area. Under the influence of the ridge, fresh to 
strong E winds will continue to blow across the waters S of 
23N/24N through early Wed morning. High seas E of the Bahamas  
associated with long period easterly swells will gradually
subside to below 8 ft by Fri.
