Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near Ft Myers Florida to 
just NW of the Yucatan Channel near 21.5N88W will move SE of the 
Gulf this evening. Minimal gale force winds are expected behind 
the front near Veracruz, Mexico this evening and tonight. Winds 
and seas are forecast to diminish from W to E across the Gulf 
waters on Tue. Then, a ridge will dominate the region through Thu.
The next cold front is forecast to enter the northern Gulf waters
on Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...High pres ridging SW from the mid Atlc will weaken 
and shift E through Tue. A deepening surface low passing near Cape
Hatteras will drag a strong cold front across the NW waters 
today. Gales can be expected along and E of the front N of 30N 
this evening. The front currently stretches from 31N78W to the 
Florida coast near 27N80W will reach from near 31N72W SW across 
the NW Bahamas to central Cuba near 22N78W around dawn Tue, from 
31N64W to eastern Cuba by Tue night, then from 23N55W to the 
entrance of the Windward Passage by Wed night while gradually 
weakening. High pressure in the wake of the front will dominate 
the region through Thu. Another cold front is forecast to arrive 
over the north waters on Fri.

showers and isolated thunderstorms.
