Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Florida Big Bend to
the central Bay of Campeche will reach the Yucatan Channel this
evening, and move SE of the area by tonight. Minimal gale force
winds and building seas to 11 or 12 ft are expected behind the
front near Veracruz, Mexico this afternoon and tonight. Winds
and seas are forecast to disminish from W to E across the Gulf
waters on Tue. Then, a ridge will dominate the region through
Thu. The next cold front is forecast to enter the northern Gulf
waters on Fri.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pres located NE of Bermuda continues  to
dominate the forecast region. Winds has diminished below gale 
force across the waters S of 22N. A deepening surface low moving 
from southern Alabama to near Cape Hatteras will drag a cold 
front across the NW waters today. The front will reach from near 
31N73W SW across the NW Bahamas to the Straits of Florida on Mon 
night, from 31N64W to eastern Cuba by Tue night, and from 23N65W 
 to the entrance of the Windward Passage by Wed night while 
gradually weakening. High pressure in the wake of the front will 
 dominate the region through Thu. A cold front is forecast to 
clip  the north waters on Fri.  

.TODAY...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms.

showers and isolated thunderstorms.
