Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1014 mb low pressure is centered near 28N87W with
a cold front extending SW to the Bay of Campeche near 18.5N95W.
The low will strengthen, cross northern Florida tonight, and
head toward Cape Hatteras dragging the cold front eastward
across the remainder of the Gulf waters by Mon afternoon.
Minimal gale force winds and building seas to 11 or 12 ft are
expected behind the front near Veracruz, Mexico Mon afternoon
and Mon night.  

.TONIGHT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pres located NE of Bermuda extends a
ridge across the forecast waters. Strong to minimal gale force
winds can be expected until around midnight over the waters S of 
22N and E of 77W, and fresh to strong winds elsewhere. Winds and 
seas will diminish as the high pressure moves farther E and 
weakens. A deepening surface low moving toward Cape Hatteras will 
drag a cold front across the NW waters Mon. The front will reach 
from near 31N73W SW across the NW Bahamas to the Straits of 
Florida on Mon night, then from 31N64W to eastern Cuba by Tue 
night. Strong NW winds and building seas will follow the front. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N,
and 6 to 8 ft N of 27N. 
.MON...S winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 8 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...Winds NW winds 15 to 20 kt. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or
less, building to 3 to 4 ft late. N of 27N, seas 5 to 7 ft.
