Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak 1019 mb low pres is centered over SE
Louisiana with a stationary front extending SW to near
Brownsville, Texas. The low is forecast to rapidly move across
the NE Gulf today pushing the cold front across the eastern Gulf
waters through early on Mon. Gale force winds and building seas
are expected behind the front near Veracruz, Mexico Mon
afternoon through Mon night.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 1039 mb located N of area near
38N62W extends a ridge across the forecast waters producing
strong to minimal gale force winds across the waters S of 24N, 
and fresh to strong winds elsewhere. A shearline extends along 
20N. Winds are forecast to diminish below gale force later
today. A deepening surface low moving across Florida into the
Atlc will  drag a cold front across the NW waters tonight and
Mon. The front  will reach from near 31N73W southwest across the
NW Bahamas to the Straits of Florida on Mon night, then from
31N63W to eastern Cuba by Tue night. Strong NW winds and
building seas will follow the front.

of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N.
