This system will maintain strong winds east of 90W today, with strong to near gale force winds across the Straits of Florida. A low pres will reach SE Louisiana by this evening, with the associated cold front extending over the NW Gulf. The low pres is expected to quickly move across the NE Gulf on Sun, pushing the cold front across the eastern Gulf waters through early on Mon.
