Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A very strong high pressure of 1044 mb centered just
offshore the Virginia/North Carolina coast extends a ridge
across much of the Gulf waters producing frequent gusts to
minimal gale force across the Straits of Florida. This system
will maintain strong winds east of 90W tonight and Sat. A trough
across the SW Gulf off the Mexican coast will meander through
Sat, then lift N as a warm front. A surface low will develop
along the warm front near 29N88W Sun morning, then race across
the NE Gulf Sun, and drag a cold front across the Gulf region
through Mon morning. Gale conditions are expected across the SW
Gulf behind the front on Mon.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 24N65W to 24N67W, then
continues as a stationary front across the SE Bahamas and
central Cuba. The front will remain nearly stationary along
22N/23N on Sat while gradually dissipate. Gale force winds and
high seas are noted N of front and E of the Bahamas, with
frequent gusts to gale force across the Straits of Florida. A
deepening surface low  moving across Florida into the Atlc will
drag a cold front across  the NW waters Sun night and Mon, with
the front reaching from  31N71W across the Bahamas to the
Straits of Florida on Mon night. 

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 25 to 30 kt S of 27N, and E 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in N to NE swell. 
.SAT...E winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and E 20 to 25 kt N of 27N.
Seas 7 to 10 ft in N to NE swell.
