Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extends from southern Florida 
across the SE Gulf to the Yucatan Peninsula. The front will move 
south of the basin later this morning. High pressure behind the 
front will slowly shift eastward along the US gulf coast through 
Friday. The next cold front will reach the Texas coast Sun night. 

.TODAY...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to
3 to 5 ft late.

will reach from 31N69W to eastern Cuba tonight, then weaken SE of 
the Bahamas from 24N65W to the Windward Passage on Fri. Strong 
high pressure behind the front will bring strong winds and high 
seas NE of the Bahamas through tonight.
